The back of my LCD tv has a port labled VGA, as does my laptop. What will happen if I connect them together? I am asking because I want to know if I should buy the cable to do so. Is it worth it? Pros and Cons (if any)?

I purchased a samsung 46in lcd tv that will turn on and has sound. But when it comes to the picture, you can see what ever is being displayed but it does not light up like a tv should? There was no cord that came with the tv so I purchased one online which fits samsung tv’s, could it be just the cord or is there something else wrong like a backlight?

I just bought a new Insignia LCD television. When I hooked up the cable I pick up all kinds of stations that I do not usually get. I have basic cable and only get 18 channels. I am picking up channels like Disney and TLC and MTV all on random stations like 79.5 and 82.3. Is there a reason for this? Will I lose those channels eventually? Am I getting charged for it?

Also if somebody can suggest the best deal on LCD TV in London

I dont watch a great amount of tv maybe an hour or two a day, at the most.
I just bought a 40” 1080p samsung lcd, and one of my relatives said it wont last, but I’ve heard from other sources that they last up to around 65,000 hours thats some…12-14 years for a heavy watcher, any facts out there?

hi guys iam planning to buy Sony KDL-32V4000 lcd tv from UK and want to take it to india. The question is will it work in india or am i just wasting my money?

I have a sony 40 in xbr2 and just wondering if watching 12 hours a day will hurt my lcd.
