My TV has a PC Output in the back and my laptop has a connection for a monitor at the back so I didn’t know whether I could get a cable to connect one to the other and where I could get this?!
I have done a bit of research and have found information on ‘VGA’ cables and about VGA cards but it is foreign to me!?
Please help me!

Do you connect the vga from laptop to vga of your TV.

The back of my LCD tv has a port labled VGA, as does my laptop. What will happen if I connect them together? I am asking because I want to know if I should buy the cable to do so. Is it worth it? Pros and Cons (if any)?

I have a HP laptop that is running windows vista, I connected it to my tv already and it works, but the only thing is that it cuts off alittle bit from the top and bottom, i tried to adjust the display properties, and the intel graphic card properties, but to no avail. Does anyone know the proper adjustment so that there is nothing cut-off. Thanks.

Toshiba satellite laptop. Does anyone know which cable I need to connect the two together?

I have a cable that connects my laptop to the tv. At the computer end it is VGA and tv end I would call it RCA but it is three connectors that are like green blue and red I think. I plugged in to both and put it on the appropriate input selector. Then I extended my desktop to the “second monitor” as I would with any other monitor, but I got nothing. Do I need to plug it in then restart the computer? Or is there another way to connect it that I am missing?

Yeah I am looking to clean my Laptop computer screen and also my Television screen (LCD)
I tried using Baby wipes on it but that leaves a bunch of marks, does anybody know what I can do to clean it? thank you!
