What Cable Do I Need To Plug My New Laptop In To My Lcd Tv?

Author: My TV has a PC Output in the back and my laptop has a connection for a monitor at the back so I didn’t know whether I could get a cable to connect one to the other and where I could get this?!
I have done a bit of research and have found information on ‘VGA’ cables and about VGA cards but it is foreign to me!?
Please help me!
How Do I Hook Up My Hd Satellite Receiver, Hdmi Equipped Dvd Player, And My Lcd Tv With An Hdmi Cable?
I have a 37″ Westinghouse tv, a Phillips dvd player, and Dish Network VIP612 HD DVR. I currently have the television and the satellite receiver connected with the HDMI cable. Is there a way I can have them all connected via HDMI? Please note, there is only one HDMI receiver on each unit.

If I Connect My Laptop To My Lcd Tv With The Vga Cable, Will My Tv Display The Material Displayed On My Laptop?
The back of my LCD tv has a port labled VGA, as does my laptop. What will happen if I connect them together? I am asking because I want to know if I should buy the cable to do so. Is it worth it? Pros and Cons (if any)?

When All You Have Is Analog Cable, What Cable And Inputs Do You Use When Connecting A Lcd Tv To A Receiver?
Analog cable tv so I know it’ll be Pro Logic II sound. I’ve just never set up anything but 5.1 digital so I don’t know what inputs and outputs to use and what kind of cable to use to connect the tv and receiver. Thanks.

What Are The Tricks To Hooking Up An Lcd Tv To A Cable Box And A Dvd Player?
I just bought an LG 42LG30, hooked it up with an HDMI cable to my cable box and it looks terrible. I’ve tried to adjust the pixels and the sharpness, but it looks just like my old analog TV. It seems like a total waste of money and I’m wondering what the catch is to hooking it up? Do I have to order HD cable? Do I have to upgrade my DVD player (I just bought it last July). Help!

I have a HP laptop that is running windows vista, I connected it to my tv already and it works, but the only thing is that it cuts off alittle bit from the top and bottom, i tried to adjust the display properties, and the intel graphic card properties, but to no avail. Does anyone know the proper adjustment so that there is nothing cut-off. Thanks.
