i tried trouble shooting already. changing resolutions and doing what the computer tells me to do but absolutely nothing is going on screen. it works with the s cable but the picture is lousy. i thought using the vga cable would give a better picture just like it does on the laptops lcd. the laptop is 2 years old but the tv is brand new. could there be compatibility issues? please help!

I really want an LCD or Plasma t.v. but can’t really afford one. That seems like a great price for a 42″ 1080p LCD. I have read a lot of reviews on Polaroids 37″ tv’s only lasting for a few months. Can anyone give me honest opions or facts on this particular tv. Will it be o.k. or am I wasting my money?
