Analog cable tv so I know it’ll be Pro Logic II sound. I’ve just never set up anything but 5.1 digital so I don’t know what inputs and outputs to use and what kind of cable to use to connect the tv and receiver. Thanks.

I just bought an LG 42LG30, hooked it up with an HDMI cable to my cable box and it looks terrible. I’ve tried to adjust the pixels and the sharpness, but it looks just like my old analog TV. It seems like a total waste of money and I’m wondering what the catch is to hooking it up? Do I have to order HD cable? Do I have to upgrade my DVD player (I just bought it last July). Help!

I got my TV from a friend and it didn’t come with a stand. Is there anywhere I could pick one up. It doesn’t seem that TV stands are standard. The Model number of my TV is w3207c.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am planning to buy some type of monitor for my Powermac G5. The Mac Cinema display is $899 and is 24 inches. However, I am thinking that I can get a decent sized flat screen tv for that price or less. My question is, would there be any lag using the tv for computer purposes such as video editing etc. Or should I just get the Cinema Display.

I have an LG LCD T.V and its 720p. The picture is decent but its not great. I don’t have a cable box and I just have regular basic cable. What cables should I get to make the picture better and how do I hook them up? A diagram of some sort would be nice.

it is hit in the bottom middle right of the screen and is broken in ward. When the tv is cut on the picture shows but at that spot it is white, and a little around it is rainbow-sh colors. I hit it with a piece of wood n it broke the screen. Is this repairable?

I don’t mean interlace or progressive scanning. I want to know how each line is scanned to produce the image. I understand how CRT works in normal TV for it has deflection coils to bring the electrons horizontally and vertically
